Does fascia blasting work?
What the bruises actually are
The public record holds user reports of bruising, swelling, and worse, serious enough to draw press coverage. A bruise is capillary bleeding from tissue damage. Repeatedly injuring superficial tissue is not remodeling fascia. It is asking the body to spend its repair budget on damage you paid to receive.
What works instead
Everyday stiffness is mostly densification: thickened glide-layer gel between fascial layers, and it appears reversible with movement and warmth, patiently applied. Slow long lines, springy loading, varied angles, weeks of consistency. That is the boring, evidenced route to tissue that feels better. For the cellulite goal specifically, no tool has honest evidence. The sellers are renting your hope.
The honest bottom line
Skip it entirely. If a method's proof of working is that it leaves you bruised, the method has confused damage with change. Fascia responds to load, warmth, movement, and time, and none of those are for sale in a blister pack.
