How to move
Sit with one leg long, the other knee bent and its foot crossed to stand outside the long leg's knee.
Hold the bent knee with the opposite hand, the other hand on the floor behind the hip.
Sit tall and turn toward the bent knee; hold, then change sides.
Form cues
Lengthen the spine before each turn.
Turn from the ribs, not the neck.
Practice and cautions
No universal dose is assigned. Choose a manageable amount for your current capacity, leave room for controlled repetitions, and allow recovery. A clinician’s individual plan takes priority.
This is movement education, not an assessment or treatment prescription. Stop for sharp or increasing pain, dizziness, numbness or tingling; seek individual guidance for symptoms, injury or restrictions.
