How to move
- Press the bell overhead, turn both feet about 45 degrees away from that arm, and push your hip out under the bell. Keeping the overhead arm locked and your eyes on the bell, hinge sideways and down, sliding your free hand along the inside of the front leg toward the floor, then drive back up tall through the hip.
Practice and cautions
2 to 4 sets of 3 to 5 slow reps per side with a light bell, treated as mobility with a little load rather than a lift to push.
The overhead arm stays vertical and locked; the moment the elbow bends or the bell drifts, the rep is over. To bail, steer the bell down to the floor in front of you, or let it fall away from your body and step the opposite way; never let it come down toward your head, and keep your eyes on it throughout.
