These tiers compare demands within this family, not universal safety or a mandatory sequence. Load, range, balance and your circumstances can change difficulty. Choose deliberately; pain does not select a progression.

How to move
Lie on the floor under a racked bar, the knees bent or the legs long.
Unrack the bar and lower it until the upper arms rest on the floor.
Pause, then press back to straight arms.
Form cues
Let the elbows touch down softly; don't bounce.
Keep the wrists straight over the elbows.
Practice and cautions
No universal dose is assigned. Choose a manageable amount for your current capacity, leave room for controlled repetitions, and allow recovery. A clinician’s individual plan takes priority.
Set the rack hooks low enough to reach from the floor, or have a spotter hand the bar over. This is movement education, not an assessment or treatment prescription. Stop for sharp or increasing pain, dizziness, numbness or tingling; seek individual guidance for symptoms, injury or restrictions.
