How to move
- From warrior one, front knee bent and back foot flat, you interlace your hands behind your back, then fold your torso down inside the front leg while the clasped arms sweep up and over your head.
Practice and cautions
Hold 20 to 30 seconds per side, 2 rounds; hold a strap between your hands if they do not meet behind your back.
The bind can aggravate shoulder injuries; keep a soft bend in the elbows and stop short of any pinching. Your head drops below your heart, so come up slowly if you are prone to dizziness, and keep the front knee tracking over the ankle.
