Cardio intervals workout
Hard means you can say only a few words. Use an exercise bike, a rowing machine or an air bike; outdoors, hill sprints are the advanced option. Vigorous minutes count roughly double toward weekly activity targets.

Tips
- If jumping and sprinting power matter to you, do intervals on a different day from heavy leg training, or at least 3 hours apart.
- A rower or air bike works the same way: keep the effort, whatever the machine.
The doses are suggested starting points, not a prescription. Choose a range you can control and stop for sharp or increasing pain, numbness or tingling. Get individual advice after an injury or surgery, or if you are pregnant or managing a health condition.
