How to move
- From standing you jump your feet out wide while swinging your arms overhead, then jump back to the start in a steady rhythm. It is a light full body bounce that raises the heart rate without asking much of any one joint.
Practice and cautions
2 to 4 sets of 30 to 60 seconds, as a warm up or between other exercises.
Low risk. The repeated bounce can irritate cranky knees, calves and feet after a long break from impact, and a fast overhead swing can bother stiff shoulders.
