2 to 4 sets of 10 to 20 reps with a light weight, stopping 1 to 2 reps short of losing form.
The weight that lets you lift without shrugging or swinging is lighter than you expect, so start there. If your shoulder pinches near the top, stop just below shoulder height and turn your thumbs slightly upward rather than pushing through it.
