How to move

Secure one dumbbell vertically at the chest with both hands. Set a comfortable stance.
Sit down between your feet, bending hips and knees while keeping the weight close.
Stand through both feet. Stop the descent before you lose balance or trunk control.

Form cues

Use a weight you can securely hold.
Keep the load close instead of reaching it forward.

Practice and cautions

No universal dose is assigned. Choose a manageable amount for your current capacity, leave room for controlled repetitions, and allow recovery. A clinician’s individual plan takes priority.

This is movement education, not an assessment or treatment prescription. Stop for sharp or increasing pain, dizziness, numbness or tingling; seek individual guidance for symptoms, injury or restrictions.
